Why I chose to make a trailer and why I have chosen to use Blogger to record the project

I chose to produce a trailer because the final product is always unique in some area, be it the Production company logo or the style of camera angles and shots or the plot that is being portrayed, I also chose to make a trailer because they are always interesting and exciting to watch as you don’t know what is going to happen and the way they can portray the plot in around 30 seconds without revealing everything the film has in it. I have also chosen to use Blogger to record the creation of the trailer and all of the research and planning that goes into its production because the blog is online so that anyone can see the work being put into each trailer and also so that I can access it from anywhere that has an internet connection and I won’t have to worry about losing a website file on a computer. I have also chosen blogger because of its ease of use, it allows me to add in any sort of image file or even imbed video files into the blog itself making blogger very versatile to use allowing me to upload any of my research straight online.

Which brief I have chosen and why

I have chosen to do a film trailer from the brief because the project will be a different experiance from what we have done in AS as we created music magazines, although, most of the core skills in Photoshop and in design will be the same and will be helpful because we still need to create movie posters which will include the aforementioned programs. I have also chosen to do this project because I will get to work with final cut and garage band.
